CUSTOM METAL SLITTING SPECIFICATIONS & TOLERANCES
Precision slitting offers significant advantages, including material optimization, reduced waste, consistent material properties across strips, and production efficiency. Our steel slitting shop enables us to work in gauge ranges from 0.005 to 0.134. Depending on the thickness of the material, we can slit material from 1/4" to 48” wide and in 16” to 20” I.D. We hold slit width tolerances within +/—0.005”.
Our metal cutting capabilities are completely customizable to your needs. Whatever specifications or tight tolerances your project requires, Mead Metals will deliver with precision.
