A109 Cold Rolled Strip Steel
Cold rolled steel is a low-carbon steel that is finished at room temperature. Due to its processing, cold rolled steel sheets are typically more durable and have a better-looking finish, making them a prime metal for automotive and appliances, where finish matters in both form and function. Mead Metals stocks ASTM A109 cold rolled strip steel in tempers 1 lb (full hard) through 5 lbs (dead soft). ASTM A109 strip steel offers tighter thickness tolerances than ASTM A1008 steel. It is highly formable, depending on temper, and is helpful in a wide range of applications.

Annealed Spring Steel
Mead Metals, Inc. stocks annealed spring steel in an array of grades, including bright annealed spring steel sheets, offering sizes and quantities to match many requirements. Our annealed spring steel is available in thicknesses ranging from 0.010 to 0.187.

Beryllium Copper
Beryllium copper’s superb electrical and thermal conductivity makes it highly ductile, allowing it to be stamped into complex shapes with tight tolerances. Given its rareness in the region, we are one of the few distributors offering it consistently, which helps us provide quicker lead times and turnarounds for our customers. Mead Metals, Inc. stocks beryllium copper products in a range of sizes and tempers and can support quantities to accommodate both high-volume and low-volume needs.

Brass
We stock ASTM B36 brass, which offers the highest ductility of any yellow brass product. It is highly resistant to weathering and is ideal for use in corrosive environments. Brass is composed of copper and zinc, and the proportions of either can be varied to create a range of brasses with varying properties. We inventory alloy 260 brass sheets and other brass products in thicknesses from 0.005 to 0.187 in annealed, quarter-hard, half-hard, and full-hard tempers, with different tempers and alloys available.

Cold Rolled 1008/1010 Steel
Mead Metals is an industry-leading provider of cold rolled carbon steel. We keep 1008 steel and 1010 steel available in thicknesses from 0.005 to 0.134 in commercial quality through full-hard tempers. Our cold rolled steel is ideal for home appliances and furniture, automotive bodies, and several other applications. 1008 cold rolled steel and 1010 cold rolled steel are easily formable for moderate draw applications. It is available in thicknesses from 0.005 to 0.134, drawing quality up through full hard tempers. Upon customer request, we offer tighter thickness tolerances and non-standard thicknesses.

Copper
Copper is ideal for electrical conductors and switches, transformers, other electrical parts, and additional applications. Mead Metals, Inc. is a leading provider of ASTM B152 copper products. We offer alloy 110 copper products in gauges from 0.005 up to 0.187. We offer annealed, quarter-hard, half-hard, and full-hard tempers. Other copper alloys and tempers are available upon request. Phosphor Bronze
Phosphor bronze has outstanding resistance to corrosion, chemical wear, and fatigue and exhibits excellent electrical conductivity. This makes it ideal for various uses, such as springs, switch parts, fuse clips, electrical connectors, and welding rods. It is also ideally suited for use in marine environments. We supply phosphor bronze in many sizes and tempers to meet the needs of your project.

Stainless Steel
Stainless steel has broad applications for many reasons. It is malleable, extremely corrosion-resistant, durable, low maintenance, aesthetically pleasing, and has high tensile strength. Because of this, it is ideal for use in a broad range of industries, such as automotive, medical, and food processing and handling. At Mead Metals, our stainless steel offerings are available in thicknesses ranging from 0.005 to 0.134. Based on the needs of our customers, we will slit stainless steel to size and level the material to length. We accommodate high-volume and low-volume orders of stainless steel sheet metal with dimensions to match your requirements.
301 stainless steel
We stock 301 stainless steel in quarter-hard to full-hard tempers. AISI 301 stainless steel is austenitic, and due to its lower chromium-nickel content, it hardens through the cold working process more quickly than other grades. It offers excellent corrosion and heat resistance. AISI 301 stainless steel is especially well-suited for applications requiring drawing, stamping, or forming.

302/304 stainless steel
Mead Metals carries 302/304 stainless steel in annealed through full-hard tempers. AISI 302/304 stainless steel is austenitic and delivers even greater corrosion and heat resistance than 301 stainless steel. The increased chromium-nickel content of 302/304 stainless steel causes it to work-harden less rapidly than other grades. Our 302/304 stainless steel is ideal for applications that employ laser and etching processes.

Tempered Spring Steel
Spring steel is typically characterized by low, medium, or high carbon content. Spring steels are known for their high yield strength, which allows objects made of spring steel to return to their original shape after significant bending or twisting.
